At the North Western Province Schools Sports Meet held on 2025-07-31, Ibbagamuwa Central College’s athlete Thevindu Sandil, who has also won All-Island recognition, secured the 8th place, finishing among the top ten in the provincial half marathon.

The school community warmly congratulates him along with his trainer, Sports Officer Mr. Duminda Galakumbura, and teachers Mrs. Jeewani Wijerathna, Mrs. Anuruddhika Weerasekara, Mrs. Lakshani Perera, and Ms. Madhushani Dayarathna.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to his parents, the Principal of Ibbagamuwa Central College, Deputy/Assistant Principals, teachers, and students who supported him.
