As another step of the Pubudamu Principal Project carried out at our school in 2024, the renovation of the main Buddha shrine of Ibbagamuwa Central College was completed on 18th August 2025.

Sponsorship for this endeavor was provided by the 2001 Group, the Past Pupils’ Mothers’ Association, and our past pupil Mr. Ranjith Shanta Muhandiramge together with Mrs. Darshana Chandramali, who are residing in Australia. Special technical assistance was rendered by Mr. Tikiri Bandara of the 2001 Group. The program was coordinated by Mr. Chandana Disanayake of the same group and Mr. Chathura Ariyasinha, Secretary of the Past Pupils’ Association.
