My life in Ibbagamuwa Central College was really interesting. I spent almost 37 years after leaving my mother school in 1974 and I never forget to sing my school anthem with the same rhythm that we all sung in the assembly hall. When I saw this web page I was elated to sing it again and again!
Now I can clearly understand each and every word in this beautiful anthem. More importantly, I can get the real taste of this beautiful wording.
It might be a different place for the new generation today, but I am sure this mother would ever like to love her kids as she did in good old days.
I am giving my big salute to the late Doyennes PM Jayathilake, EPW Helapitage and PB Ratnayake those who have guided my mother school to a shining star of the education, sports and social cohesion and justice for the poorest student in the island.
I pray and wish for a long life for my mother school!

9 Sep 2017 - Ibbagamuwa central college past pupils Colombo branch association proudly present ICCIANS COLOMBO NIGHT 2017.

The annual get together and the dinner will be held at GRAND BALLROOM, GALADARI on Sep 9th, 6pm onwards. It is open for all the past pupils and their families where the night will be a spectacular one with live Acoustic Music, Dancing Groups, Comedies and Many Surprising events.

Tickets: 3500 LKR
